According to Yahoo Kim Zolciak has made her announcement and yes she’s having another baby with hubby Kroy Biermann.  Since Kim recently gave birth to a baby boy who is now 9 months old, she well indeed be the mom of ‘stair steps’.

Although there are numerous pros and cons of having children close in age, we will like to focus on the pros.

1. Playmate: with children close in age, they will always have someone to play with.

2. Save on the expense of clothes:  Now, this will only apply when having children of the same sex or purchasing unisex clothing.

3. Get child bearing out of the way:  For those looking to start a family and get settled for a lack of better words, having children back to back is definitely the way to do it.  This is coming from a woman whose children are all 6 years apart.  It’s like starting over all over again!

So, tell us what you think!  Do you think having ‘stair steps has more advantages or disadvantages?

Mariah spoke with Robin this morning on GMA about family, health and how hard it is to talk about the loss of Whitney Houston.

When asked about Whitney, Mariah Carey said that it was still hard for her to discuss it.  She went on to say that it was great working with Whitney.

Now, I’m sure we all peeped those peep toe Louboutins she was wearing.  Gorge!!!!!

It’s written all over her face that being a mom is a joy when she says, “we love those babies,” a statement she made a couple times throughout her interview. Speaking of the love moms have for their children.

There’s no doubt that the past year has been challenging with the health issues she faced during her pregnancy and Nick’s mild kidney failure.  Mariah said we need to focus on our health and she’s doing that by working out, spokeswoman for Jenny Craig and The American Heart Association.

Let's MoveFirst Lady Michelle Obama began a three day, four state tour to celebrate the second birthday of Let’s Move!

The first state to visit was Des Moines, Iowa and in attendance to help celebrate were Olympians Michelle Kwan, Shawn Johnson and WNBA Indiana Fever’s Tamika Catchings.

“We could have had this party anywhere in the country, right? We could have gone anywhere, but there is a reason why we wanted to come here to Iowa to be with all of you. And that’s because I am so proud of what you all are doing to make Iowa the healthiest state in this country by 2016.

I am proud that you guys are starting community gardens, that you’re eating your fruits and vegetables. I’m proud that you guys are walking to school instead of taking the bus. I’m proud that you’re working hard to get that 60 minutes of activity a day, every day. I’m also proud of your government, and businesses like Hy-Vee, and community leaders across the state who are all coming together to help you guys get healthy, to keep moving.

This is exactly what “Let’s Move” is all about. We want every single state in this country to do exactly what Iowa is doing.”
