Plastic surgery: Designer Pocket Books

When you thought giving birth was enough along with an annual pap-smear, comes to find out some women prefer looking as though they’ve never been touched, down there.

Instead of the satisfaction of designer handbags and Christian Louboutins, they’d prefer undergoing labioplasty and vaginoplasty in order to keep their private parts in check.  When looking up the words on dictionary.com, I found it interesting of the vagueness in detail.

Labioplasty n. Plastic surgery on a lip. #thatisall This usually takes place when a woman has a large labia.  If you watch Keeping up with the Kardashians, there’s an episode where the Kardashians sisters tease their mom Kris about having a camel toe.  Really? Who should care to know?

Vaginoplasty was vague however, self explanatory.

Vaginoplasty n. Plastic surgery of the vagina. Also called colpoplasty.

In any case, I won’t deny looking in the mirror and envisioning the frown lines gone, but after living in our bodies for years, at what point do we become OK with who we are or do we?Are women looking to be perfect? Is it insecurity and what woman compares her private parts to another?  Tell us would you consider a designer vagina?

 Picky & Never Satisfied

Last Thursday, Serena Williams told reporters in Australia that she hadn’t been on a date in forever.  In conjunction with stating that she was very picky and never satisfied.  Aside from me being married and recently going on a date with my hubby, the immensely picky and never satisfied part, resonated with some of my meager imperfections.  What woman isn’t picky and never satisfied?  Please don’t be Miss Perfectionist and say that you’re not at-least one of the two adjectives!  If you’re neither of those, maybe you haven’t been on a date, in forever!

Assumptions

Oftentimes when women are in their 30′s, not married and/or dating, people automatically assume that being overparticular is the reason for her singleness.  When that assumption is made, many believe that she should lower her standards, stop being unrealistic and wanting to live a fairytale.

What Do We Make Out of Assumptions

I’m sure their are many of us, by personal experience or who know of women that have lowered their standards, stopped being unrealistic and wanting to live a fairytale.  Much to their surprise, some still find themselves single or making a you know what, out of their “assumptions”!  As women, we want what we want and until Mr. Right (for us) comes along, lowering our standards isn’t the answer to ending a single thing!
