Recap Madonna’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance

super bowl

Hands down Madonna looks fabulous at the age of 53 and her moves weren’t that crappy either even though they were minimal.  As well as, I think the props and special effects helped camouflage any imperfections that went unnoticed.  I must admit seeing Nicki Minaj, had me a bit concerned.  I was definitely hoping that they weren’t going to grace us with any kissing FX or unnecessary exploits.  Whew!  How relieved I was, when Nicki exited the stage without bringing my fears to reality.

Anyhow, M.I.A caught me by surprise!  I don’t know why, seeing as though special effects were taken quite seriously for this performance,  M.I.A felt the need to express herself by flipping the bird to the cameras. :-0

Cee Lo Green was a great addition to the performance despite the fact, he can bring some controversy too. However, this time he left the ?/&!’s up to M.I.A.

Our 3 Least Favorite Super Bowl Commercial(s)

Dear Coca Cola,

We love the polar bears dearly. However, please find a new marketing strategy. There were a minimum of three different Coca Cola commercials played during the Super Bowl and not one gave me the desire to drink a Coke!

Starting with least favorite

2. Go Daddy- commercials are always a bit racey so I can’t expect much more. At which point, it makes me wonder are they only selling domains.

3. Car Commercials- if, I never…ever…ever…see another car commercial in my life time!!!!I would not be disappointed! Though, two of the Chevy commercials are runner ups in our fave Super Bowl commercials.

Our Favorite Super Bowl Commercial?

Oikos Yogurt was our commercial of choice.
